Imee is a freelance writer, Fulbright scholar, and AmeriCorps Health Fellow based in Oakland, California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience at Washington State University in 2017, where she worked at the Devers Eye Institute as a research assistant studying the mechanisms of glaucomatous vision loss. In 2018, she conducted public health research in the Philippines to investigate neurodevelopmental disorders. She has several years of clinical experience working closely with health care providers as a medical scribe in a pediatric and oncology clinic. Currently, at LifeLong Medical Care, she is focused on chronic care management and wellness promotion.
